Michal Sieroslawski (“us” or “we”) welcomes you. This Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”) applies to our website, accessible via the link michalsieroslawski.com (“Website”). What data we collect

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the Website. Google Analytics sets cookies and collects information such as the pages you visit, how long you stay, your browser and device type, and your approximate location based on your IP address. We use this data only in aggregate to improve the Website. You can read how Google uses this data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites, and you can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Payments

When you book a consultation or buy a service, payment is handled by Stripe on a Stripe-hosted checkout page. Stripe collects your name, email address, and payment details to process the payment. We receive your name, email address, and what you purchased, but we never see or store your full card details. Stripe’s privacy policy is available at stripe.com/privacy.

Email

When you contact us by email, we keep your email address and the content of your message so we can reply and keep a record of our conversation.

Cookies

The Website itself does not set cookies. The only cookies are set by Google Analytics, as described above, and by Stripe on its checkout pages. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time.

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

Who do we share your data with?

We share data only with the services that run the Website: Google (analytics) and Stripe (payments). We do not sell your personal data.

How long we retain your data?

Google Analytics data is kept for the retention period set in our Google Analytics account. Payment records are kept for as long as we are legally required to keep them for tax and accounting purposes. Emails are kept for as long as needed to answer your questions and provide our services.

What rights do you have over your data?

You can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes. To make a request, email michal@michalsieroslawski.com.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated.
